I have this blue shirt that I bought at my local Goodwill about a year ago. It's a nice little number to put on top of shor sleeves when it's too cold for bare arms, but it was beginning to show some signs of aging. The top too buttons were worn out and chipped, so I decided to replace them with a variety a rainbow of other buttons.. I saw a guy that I thought was very hip do something similar to a peacoat a while back and have always wanted to try the look.
Here's before and after the button magic and what I wore for Valentine's Day.. plus a cute dog photo and a picture of some of the best peanut butter chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted (see recipe below).

The girls over at Kill the Gluten posted this recipe for peanut butter chocolate chip cookies a few years ago. I've made it a bunch of times ]and I'm always pleased by how delectable these cookies turn out to be. I'm not allergic to gluten.. I just found this recipe online one day when I had a serious c1ookie craving and no flour in the house (I was too lazy to go out), so I looked up 'peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipes without flour' and BAM! I was delivered this directed recipe:
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips (I use the whole bag)
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
Stir pb, sugar, egg, baking soda, and salt together. Add chocolate chips and peanuts. Roll into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
Love the outfit and those cookies look delish. I'll have to try them.
